Bonus coins vs paid coins — what's the difference?

Your Sharda Quiz coin balance has two separate parts:

Bonus Balance

Coins earned through rewards:

• Welcome bonus (600 coins on signup)
• Level-up rewards
• Daily challenges
• Streak bonuses
• Badge unlocks

Restrictions:

• Maximum 200 bonus coins can be spent per day.
• Cannot be refunded or transferred.
• Used first before paid coins.

Paid Balance

Coins purchased through the app.

No restrictions:

• No daily spending cap.
• Eligible for refund requests (subject to policy).
• Used after bonus coins are exhausted.

Spending order

When you use a feature that costs coins, the app deducts from your bonus balance first (up to the daily limit), then from your paid balance.

Example:

• You have 300 bonus coins + 500 paid coins.
• You use 200 coins worth of AI today (bonus limit reached).
• Any further usage today draws from your 500 paid coins.
• Tomorrow, your 200 bonus coin allowance resets.
